Jailbreaking has been in existence for years and it has become something we rely on to provide us with what Apple won’t , the features and the functionality that the iOS should be providing us as standard. However, Apple has long fought against jailbreaking and it looks like they might finally have won; iOS 10 seems to have been the turning point, with just one jailbreak in nearly two years. An app installer called TweakBox was released some time ago, offering a selection of Cydia tweaks and app store apps and this proved to be a very popular move. More have been released since and one of the newest, a decent alternative to TweakBox is called AppValley.
What is AppValley ?
Like all the other installers released, AppValley is akin to being an unofficial store, a mixture of app store and Cydia content, all of it entirely free for download and use, and that includes all the paid apps from the app store. You don’t need a jailbreak for AppValley to work and it contains some excellent content and features.
AppValley Features :
- Easy to download and use
- Simple to navigate
- All content is categorized for easy access
- No jailbreak required
- Supports iOS 10 and 11 on all iOS devices
- Works on Android and on PC
- Full of tweaks and modified apps, like Pokémon Go++, Instagram++, Spotify++ and Snapchat++
- Loads more
Supported Devices :
AppValley is supported on these iOS devices that run iOS 10 or iOS 11:
- iPad Pro
- iPad Air
- iPad Mini
- iPod Touch
AppValley is also compatible with Android 2.2 or above, and you can use it on your PC, but you need an Android emulator for this, like BlueStacks.
How to Download AppValley :
You will not be able to download AppValley from any official source, like the app store, nor does it require Cydia. Instead, you can download it directly and the post below details all the information you need, including a step by step download tutorial.

How to Stop AppValley Crashing :
Apple doesn’t like unofficial apps and they regularly check for them on iOS devices When they find them, they revoke the certificates, and this stops the apps working. This will happen to AppValley within a week of you installing it and everything you downloaded from AppValley will also stop working. Rather than having to reinstall everything painstakingly, download Anti Revoke after you download AppValley. Anti Revoke is a VPN tool that prevents Apple revoking the certificates; you can find more information and a download guide at the link.
Do not be disappointed if AppValley doesn’t offer the same experience that Cydia does. It cannot replace Cydia because many of the tweaks in the jailbreak store require the jailbreak to work. However, what AppValley does offer is a decent alternative. We are not likely to see any updates to Cydia in the near future, and installers like AppValley are the only way that you can get some of what you used in Cydia. Plus, because you don’t need to jailbreak, more people can use it.
Try AppValley on your iOS device today and see how you get on with it. Tell us if you have any problems in the comments box below and follow us on Facebook for more news and updates.
